Michael Garry, founder of The Mimosa Company, spent years conducting field research in South America, studying native plant (tenuiflora) use and sustainable harvesting methods. His passion for ethical trade and botanical quality still guides every decision we make.

We work with small harvesting teams in Brazil and Mexico who use sustainable wild-harvesting methods to protect the environment. Our Mimosa Hostilis root bark is never farmed and goes through strict quality checks first at the source, then again at our U.S. facility.
Each batch is carefully packaged to keep its natural tannins, fragrance, and dyeing strength intact.
